CF-8 Calibration Fluid Kit This kit contains all of the consumables needed to confirm calibration of the Thermo Scientific NanoDropTM 8000 Spectrophotometer. Included is an ampoule of CF-1* and an 8-well PCR tube strip.
* CF-1 is an aqueous potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7) solution for use in confirming calibration of NanoDrop Spectrophotometers. It is roughly ten times more concentrated than other commercially-available K2Cr2O7 solutions used to confirm calibration of standard spectrophotometers. It is offered exclusively through us and our distributors. CF-1 is packaged in 0.5 ml snap-top glass ampoules; intended for single use.
PR-1 Conditioning Kit
This kit is useful for "re-conditioning" the sample measurement pedestals to a hydrophobic state if they become "unconditioned" (see user's manual for more information). The PR-1 kit consists of a container of specially formulated polishing compound and a supply of applicators.
RNA Control 250 (from Ambion)
The RNA Control 250 provides a precise, accurate, and reproducible RNA concentration reference for use in conjunction with the NanoDrop 8000. The control consists of a single, ultra-pure, 2000 nt RNA transcript of precisely defined sequence, molecular weight, and concentration. It is packaged in special non-stick tubes. This pipette is an ideal accessory to the NanoDrop 8000 and is very comfortable to use. Its curved finger hook reduces the grip strength required for dispensing and tip ejection and the light plunger forces ease repetitive stress on the thumb and hand. In addition, it is completely autoclavable. We recommend TipOne® tips from BIOHIT(We do not sell pipette tips).
